Account

Manage your sign-in, two-factor authentication, and the language of the dashboard.

Settings → Account is about your own login. It does not change your receptionist, your business profile, or your plan.

Email and password

The section is titled Email & Password when you sign in with an email and password, and Email when you sign in another way. It shows Email Address.

Select Change Password to email yourself a reset link. When it sends, the dashboard shows Password reset email sent. Check your inbox.

If you sign in with Google, Apple, or SSO, that name is shown instead, and there is no password to change.

Two-factor authentication

Two-Factor Authentication adds an authenticator app. The badge reads Enabled or Disabled.

Select Enable 2FA. If your email is not confirmed yet, the dialog is titled Verify your email: Reception.ai sends a link, and you select Retry after you open it. Otherwise the dialog is Add Two-Factor Authentication. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app, or enter the setup code by hand, then enter the Verification Code and select Verify & Enable. Save the Backup Code that follows. You need it to turn two-factor authentication off, and to sign in if you lose the authenticator app.

Select Remove 2FA to open Remove Two-Factor Authentication. Enter the backup code under Your Backup Code, then select Remove 2FA.

Application language

Application language sets the language of the dashboard. It does not change the language your receptionist speaks. See Voice and personality for that.

The choices are English, Deutsch, Español, Français, हिन्दी, Italiano, 日本語, 한국어, Nederlands, Polski, Português, Svenska, 简体中文, and 繁體中文.
