We’ve lowered API & Agents pricing and introduced pay as you go

We have reduced pricing across ElevenAPI and ElevenAgents for self-serve developers and introduced a pay as you go model. These updates make it more cost-efficient to build and scale voice systems, from early experimentation to production deployments.

Text to Speech is now up to 55% lower cost, Speech to Text up to 45% lower, and ElevenAgents up to 20% lower. Performance, quality, and support remain unchanged.

Lower Text to Speech pricing

We have reduced pricing across our Text to Speech models on ElevenAPI.

For example, on the Flash model under the Creator plan:

• New cost: $0.05 per 1,000 tokens.
• Previous cost: $0.11 per 1,000 tokens.
• Savings: 55%.

Lower Speech to Text pricing

We have also reduced pricing for Speech to Text on ElevenAPI.

For example, on Scribe v2 under the Starter plan:

• New cost: $0.22 per 1,000 tokens.
• Previous cost: $0.40 per 1,000 tokens.
• Savings: 45%.

Lower pricing for ElevenAgents

And finally we've also reduced pricing for ElevenAgents.

For example, on the Starter plan:

• New cost: $0.08 per minute.
• Previous cost: $0.10 per minute.
• Savings: 20%. 

More flexibility with pay as you go

Alongside the price reductions, we are introducing pay as you go across ElevenAPI and ElevenAgents. This allows teams to scale usage based on demand with predictable, usage-based pricing.

With pay as you go, you can:

• Pay only for what you use.
• Scale from prototype to production without plan constraints.
• Run experiments without upfront commitments.

Pay as you go is designed for teams moving from experimentation to production. For higher-volume usage and custom pricing, the Enterprise plan is available.

How to migrate as an existing customer

For existing customers, migrating to the new pricing is easy. In your subscriptions page, go to “Manage subscription” and click “Switch to new pricing”. If you don't see this button, you are already on the new pricing.

Alternatively, by upgrading your plan in the usual way, you’ll move you onto the new pricing. 

For those on the Free plan, you can quickly get started with pay as you go pricing by going to ElevenAPI and topping up your credits using the "+ Add credits" button.
