What is the Iconic Marketplace?

The Iconic Marketplace is a curated, two-sided platform where companies can request access to iconic talent for their campaigns, partnerships, and creative initiatives. Through the marketplace, ElevenLabs connects the requesting company with the relevant brand or IP (intellectual property) rights holder.

Who can license voices and IP from the Iconic Marketplace?

Each request is reviewed and approved by the talent or their authorized rights holder, who decides whether to move forward. Note: Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. Each proposal is evaluated individually by the rights holder, and approval depends on factors like project content, brand fit, and talent availability.

How does the licensing process work?

Licensing through the Iconic Marketplace is straightforward but follows a careful approval process to protect all parties: -Browse Voices – Explore the catalog of available iconic voices and talent. -Submit a Request – Choose the voice you’d like to license and provide details about your project (e.g., format, purpose, audience, and intended use). -Approval & Agreement – The rights holder reviews your request. If approved, a licensing agreement is created between both parties. -Production & Delivery – Once the deal is finalized, ElevenLabs may facilitate the project depending on the agreed terms. Note regarding review and approval timelines. Some collaborations can move quickly, while others — especially involving high-profile talent or complex use cases — may take several weeks or longer.

Who can join the Iconic Marketplace as talent?

If you are a public figure, actor, or IP rights holder interested in making your voice available for licensed use, please contact: partnerships@elevenlabs.io. Alternatively, creators and emerging voices can contribute to the ElevenLabs Voice Library for open community access in our voice library.

What types of projects can use licensed voices?
