Homecoming: bringing the ElevenLabs Summit to Warsaw

Today, we’re hosting the ElevenLabs Summit in Warsaw - bringing together around 2,500 founders, leaders, researchers, developers, operators, artists, and institutions from across Poland and Europe.

It’s taking place in Poland's National Opera theatre, Teatr Wielki, a venue where art and engineering combine to push the limits of human voice, in a way that feels fitting for the conversations we’ll have today.

This is an exciting time to host a summit in Warsaw. Over our lifetimes, Poland has been through a remarkable transformation. It's now a trillion-dollar economy, on the cusp of joining the G20, and home to engineers building some of the world's most important tech companies. For much of modern history, countries in our region adapted to technologies built elsewhere. But with AI, Polish researchers and companies have the chance to shape a major technological shift in real time.

That energy is reflected in the remarkable leaders we have joining us today. President Karol Nawrocki, an early adopter of our technology, will open the event, and Deputy PM Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz will join us to share his reflections on innovation and security. We'll hear how executives from Polsat Plus Group, LOT Polish Airlines, InPost, and PKO Bank are thinking about deploying AI, alongside European founders like Markus Villig of Bolt, and creative visionaries like Darren Aronofsky. Investors from across the world are flying in to learn more about the Polish ecosystem, including Jennifer Li from a16z, Andrew Reed from Sequoia, and Seth Pierrepoint from ICONIQ. And leaders such as former president Lech Wałęsa and Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski are actively supporting the event.

Warsaw is our third company summit, and at each one, we’ve tried to bring to life what advances in AI make possible. Leads from across ElevenLabs will demo the progress we're making towards AI that communicates at human level. And through conversations with our customers and partners, we’ll explore how AI is transforming the way people and businesses interact with their most important audiences - breaking down language barriers, making ideas accessible anywhere, and creating new interfaces with technology. 

This is a real homecoming for me and Piotr. We grew up not far from the Teatr Wielki, in the suburbs of Warsaw. We met aged fifteen at Kopernik 33rd high school, and immediately became best friends - and fellow maths enthusiasts, as you can see in that 2011 class photo!

After years of studying and travelling together, we built our first voice model here in Warsaw and raised money from Polish angel investors and Maciek Gnutek at Credo. Now, just four years later, we're proud to serve historic Polish organizations like LOT, Allegro, Polsat, CD Projekt, Trasti, and Centrum e-Zdrowia. It feels a little surreal to be hosting thousands of our customers, partners, and leaders in one of Poland's most historic venues.
