Poland invests in ElevenLabs

The Government of Poland has taken a stake in ElevenLabs. Through Vinci, part of the BGK Group, Poland joins Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia, and ICONIQ as one of our investors.

Launching an AI Lab Poland

Together, we are launching AI Lab Poland - a new joint initiative that brings together capital, technology, science, and talent in one place. The goal is to help the next generation of Polish AI companies grow with global ambition from the start.

We are already working with extraordinary partners across the country: Centrum e-Zdrowia, LOT Polish Airlines, InPost, Uniwersytet Warszawski, and Piotr Fronczewski. Together we hope to build technology that starts in Poland and scales to the world.

Coming home

Mati and Piotr Dąbkowski first met as teenagers in Warsaw. Like many from their generation, they had the opportunity to study and work abroad, learn from some of the best people in the world, and build a company with global reach from the start - from Europe.

The more we travel, the more it feels like Poland is a place where the future is being built. We have a strong team in Warsaw, in London, and across many capitals in the region. We are committed to deepening those roots.

Earlier this year, we hosted the ElevenLabs Summit in Warsaw. It felt like a homecoming - the energy in the room reflected a scene that is genuinely on the rise.

Why this matters

Europe is at a critical moment. The signals of unity and support that come from moves like this one matter more than they might appear to. We believe Europe has the potential to lead on technology and applied AI, and Poland is one of the places where that potential is most visible.

With the Polish state now investing in ElevenLabs, we are proud to be strengthening the connection between Poland, Europe, and the broader global technology ecosystem.
