Fyxer uses ElevenLabs Speech to Text to power meeting notetaker

Fyxer is an AI email assistant for professionals who want to spend less time in their inbox. It organizes emails by priority, creates email drafts in a user's tone of voice, and writes meeting notes for teams working across platforms like Gmail, Outlook and Zoom.

To improve the precision, speed, and structure of its meeting notetaker, Fyxer integrated ElevenLabs Scribe v2 for live transcription of user conversations. In addition to the transcript, Fyxer's notetaker also extracts action items and summaries from each meeting, which means it needs to carefully attribute each statement to the correct speaker.

Top-performing transcription accuracy

Before committing to a provider, Fyxer built a benchmark dataset from its own meeting audio and ran ten transcription providers against it. Each provider was scored on speaker-attributed word error rate, the metric that matters most to Fyxer because its output depends on knowing who said what. ElevenLabs ranked highest in the field with a 20% reduction in WER relative to the control.

Fyxer validated the model in production with an A/B test across 6,000+ organizations. The organizations using ElevenLabs converted from trial to paid subscriptions at 20.3%, compared with 17.6% on the previous provider, representing a 15% relative lift.

With overall note-taking quality and engagement guardrails staying flat throughout the test, Fyxer has now rolled out ElevenLabs as its exclusive transcription provider.
