ElevenLabs joins the EU AI Champions Initiative

At the AI Action Summit in Paris, we joined over 60 European companies to launch the EU AI Champions Initiative - a coalition focused on strengthening AI development and adoption across the continent.

The initiative brings together technology firms, industry leaders, and policymakers to ensure Europe is a driving force in AI. More than €150 billion has been earmarked for AI investment by international capital allocators, with a focus on sectors where Europe has long-standing expertise: manufacturing, energy, healthcare, and defense.

The goal is to create the conditions for AI to scale - through better infrastructure, clearer regulation, and collaboration between businesses and policymakers. The first steps are simplifying AI regulations, connecting startups with larger industry players, and creating the conditions for AI to grow.

The initiative was announced at the AI Action Summit, hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron, with discussions involving European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and leaders from across the Continent.
