Sharpen deploys AI voice agents with ElevenLabs

A CCaaS platform now powered by native conversational AI

Sharpen is a cloud contact center as a service (CCaaS) platform built to simplify contact center operations and improve caller experiences. After embedding our Agents Platform directly into its infrastructure, Sharpen now enables companies to deploy AI voice agents that can manage customer conversations end-to-end.

From experimentation to deployment

​Sharpen’s product team had previously explored our Text to Speech models to build natural-sounding voice interactions. With the launch of our Agents Platform, they saw an opportunity to embed voice agents directly into their CCaaS infrastructure. 

Following a few scoping and integration sessions, Sharpen deployed a solution that aligns directly with their vision: making agentic AI practical and accessible for businesses aiming to deliver high-quality customer call experiences.

An intuitive AI teammate

Sharpen’s approach embeds AI directly into the orchestration layer of the customer journey and is designed for flexibility: the agents can run standalone in front of the contact center, integrate with existing CCaaS providers, or operate directly on Sharpen’s platform.

Each AI voice agent has full context - including caller history, sentiment, escalation status, and past interactions - and can transfer conversations seamlessly to a human agent without repeating steps or losing information. This creates a smoother customer experience and a more efficient workflow for employees.

Looking ahead

Sharpen’s mission is to provide companies with accessible and impactful tools to improve customer experience with AI. By embedding our Agents Platform, Sharpen has built a product that goes beyond traditional IVRs and FAQ bots to deliver digital teammates that improve both caller experience and employee performance.

This launch marks one of the first native deployments of agentic AI within a CCaaS platform, giving enterprises a clear path to practical, end-to-end automation.
