Omnivore joins ElevenLabs

We're excited to announce that the team behind Omnivore, a popular iOS reader app used by 500,000 globally, has joined the company. This move accelerates our mission of making content universally accessible by bringing its advanced Text to Speech technology to mobile devices.

In June, we launched the ElevenReader mobile app, allowing users to read aloud books, articles, and PDF in dozens of voices across 32 languages. By joining ElevenLabs, the Omnivore team will build upon an existing partnership where Omnivore previously integrated ElevenLabs' high-quality AI voices into its reading app.

In a move that underscores our commitment to fostering innovation in the tech community, we have ensured that Omnivore's open-source codebase will remain publicly available to all developers. We hope that the broader development community will continue to build upon and improve Omnivore’s technology.
