Sales lead qualification used to mean a delay for the lead and hours of manual work for our reps. Now our AI SDR, Dom, qualifies leads in minutes vs a two-day human median, and handled $1M+ of qualified pipeline in the last month.
54% of Dom’s conversations are outside 9–5, meaning that leads don’t wait until morning for a callback but get routed immediately. Leads rate Dom highly at 8.8/10.
Dom has saved our SDR team 180 hours in the last month, time they can spend on outbound or in live demos with qualified leads.
We have also iterated on how Dom qualifies leads and follows up, bringing qualification accuracy from 78% to 92%. That improvement let us expand coverage to North America, routing more inbound volume to Dom.
How Dom qualifies and routes leads
Achieving high qualification accuracy
When we first rolled out our AI SDR, qualification was decided entirely inside the live call. If a lead's answers were inconclusive, or if they hung up before Dom had enough information, that was the end of it.
Qualification is now a documented, multi-signal waterfall instead of a single pass. If a lead is not qualified during the call, the backend runs an AI-driven analysis of the lead's company website before defaulting to disqualification. A parallel check evaluates eligibility for our startup grants program. A lead can still convert even if the live conversation was inconclusive or got cut short.
The more decisions Dom gets right without a human check, the less time our SDRs spend re-reviewing calls - time they can put toward higher-leverage work instead.
Personalizing intake and follow-up
To handle the range of cases that come through our contact sales form, Dom needs to route leads flexibly rather than treat every case the same way. Our first version had two outcomes: a lead either qualified for a demo or got routed to self-serve sign-up.
Dom now routes leads through a more personalized path depending on the lead's enriched profile and answers to each of the questions. The result is a better outcome for the lead, whether that is a booked demo or being handed off to customer support for a product question. After the call, Dom sends a follow-up email with whatever the lead asked for.
This routing is built using ElevenAgents Workflows, which uses defined criteria to guide users to the right outcome in real time.

Measuring success
Dom captures each lead's use case and qualification decision, writing the data directly to our CRM and notifying the team. The website enrichment data used to route sub-agents during the call is stored alongside it, so we can see not just what Dom decided but why.
After every call, the platform runs the transcript through structured data extraction. Our team reviews every conversation daily, qualified or disqualified, to check whether the decision was accurate and whether the conversation was actually helpful to the lead.
Results
In July, Dom handled hundreds of qualification calls, with the following results:
- 4 min median speed to lead. Dom’s median conversation length for qualified leads is 4 minutes, compared to a 2 day median for human speed to lead.
- Conversations across 15+ languages. As an international company, we get inbound leads in Hindi, Spanish, French, and more. Dom can handle 32 languages.
- 8.8 out of 10 CSAT from the leads who spoke with Dom.
- 92% qualification accuracy. When Dom decides whether a lead is qualified, it makes the right call 92 times out of 100, measured against how a human reviewer would score the same conversation.
- $1M+ in qualified pipeline from a single month.
Many leads who spoke with Dom are delighted by how well the conversation went:
"The conversation was amazing. I'm literally impressed by the quality of talking with an AI tool, considering that we are most likely going to partner together.
"I thought the voice interaction from the AI was fantastic, much better than I thought."
"Definitely a ten. That was really good."
Next steps
Dom handles a portion of our inbound today, but will soon be the primary entry point for all sales leads. More leads will reach Dom directly, get routed immediately, and give hours back to our SDR team to focus on higher leverage tasks.
Next is following the lead wherever they are. We are smoothing the handoff between voice and text and letting leads continue with Dom on WhatsApp or email, so switching channels feels like the same conversation rather than starting over. This continuity is what will let Dom carry out outbound sequences like initial outreach and follow-up, while our reps focus on the conversations that convert.
