Gaia Cuts Production Time by 25% with ElevenLabs

Gaia is a global streaming network focused on the evolution of consciousness. They produce dozens of original series on topics not often covered by mainstream platforms — like the nature of the universe, ancient wisdom, the unexplained, and alternative healing.

To better serve their community, Gaia needed a faster way to make their videos available in multiple languages. They tested three other platforms to evaluate AI dubbing but didn’t find the quality they needed. They chose to partner with us at ElevenLabs because of the strength of our AI models and the wide range of voices we offer.

We started by helping Gaia dub trailers and social clips using our Dubbing Studio. It lets them dub videos while preserving the emotion, tone, and timing of each speaker.

The early results were strong, so we expanded the partnership to longer-form content like documentaries and series. This time, Gaia used our Studio service to manage a more advanced process — creating dubbing scripts from subtitles, generating audio tracks, adjusting voice modulation, and matching inflections.

Dubbing long-form content can be time-consuming, but we made Gaia’s workflow more time- and cost-efficient. Their Senior Manager of International Operations, Alessandra DeMello Castanho, shared:
