ElevenScribe Privacy Policy

Updated August 20, 2026

1. Introduction and scope

This ElevenScribe Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how ElevenLabs and our affiliates (together, “ElevenLabs”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process your personal information in connection with your use of ElevenScribe, our dictation services and mobile and desktop apps that turn your speech into text (“ElevenScribe).”

This Policy applies when you use ElevenScribe. This Policy does not apply to your use of any other ElevenLabs products or services. For more information about how we process your information for other ElevenLabs products or services, please refer to our general Privacy Policy.

This Policy also does not cover personal information we collect when you use ElevenScribe through one of our business customers (for example, if you use an ElevenLabs service through your employer or our technology powers voice functionality on a service offered by another company). When we do that, we act as a “service provider” or “data processor”. In those cases, the business customer's contract with us, not this Policy, governs how we use the information. If you have questions about personal information we process for one of our customers, please contact that customer directly.

This Policy applies to all our users around the world. If you are resident in Brazil, the EEA, UK or Switzerland, India or the United States please read the extra information that applies to you.

If you have any questions or concerns about our use of your personal information, please email dpo@elevenlabs.io

We call the audio we capture your “Input.” We turn that audio into text, and we call the text your “Output.” In this Policy, we refer collectively to such audio, data derived from such audio, and the generated text Output as “Dictation Data.” Dictation Data is not intended to nor is capable of uniquely identifying you.
  • Profile Information. When you sign up for ElevenScribe, you can choose to tell us more information - for example, how you heard about us.
