Today, we’re officially launching in Belgium. We’re opening an office in Brussels to meet our customers where they are, to build localized AI and expand our physical presence across the country.
At ElevenLabs, our AI models speak, listen, and translate at human level in more than 90 languages, and our conversational agents can adapt to any business or culture. Organizations of all kinds use our platform to power new interactions with their most important audiences, from businesses and customers, to governments and citizens, doctors and patients, and artists and fans. To feel natural and culturally relevant, AI must be local.
To deepen our partnership with Belgian enterprises, we’ve appointed Falke Van Onacker to lead our Belgium office. We’re also planning to triple the size of our team in Belgium this year, majority of whom will be based in our Brussels office.
Belgium is a natural place for ElevenLabs to operate. It’s a country with three official languages, and everyday, over 100 different languages are spoken in Brussels. It is the largest interpretation operation in the world, and our technology is built to complement that.
“Belgium, and in particular Brussels, is one of the most interesting places in the world for voice and language,” said Mati Staniszewski, cofounder and CEO of ElevenLabs. “We’re already seeing strong demand from Belgian businesses, and we’re expanding our local team to work side by side with customers to build AI that feels natural for their brand and context.”
Belgian enterprises are adopting ElevenLabs for agent deployment, transcription, content creation and accessibility. We are proud to support these companies, including:
- Glowi. The Belgian employee services group is running ElevenAgents for applicant screening and scheduling calls in Dutch, French, and English.
- Cavell. The medical AI copilot uses our speech-to-text model to power customized medical notes and structured data extraction. It’s currently being rolled out to 8,000 practitioners.
- Corilus. Belgium's market leader in medical ICT uses our transcription tool ElevenScribe to transcribe Flemish patient calls, with EU deployment and zero-retention for compliance.
- Mediafin. Belgium's largest business newspaper publisher is converting up to 10 million characters per month into Dutch and French audio.
- FL Studio. The music production software company with over 30,000 downloads a day integrates Eleven Music natively in-app. The team expected volumes of 30,000 to 1 million minutes of audio per month.
- The European Union dubbed high-level diplomatic press conferences in multiple languages using ElevenLabs.
Some 20 Belgian organizations currently hold active ElevenLabs grants, supporting work in education, the arts, and accessibility. It’s a reflection of our commitment to the local ecosystem beyond commercial deployments.
“ElevenLabs was made for a country like Belgium, and we’re opening right in the heart of the European District in Brussels,” said Falke Van Onacker, ElevenLabs’ new Belgium lead. “Demand for care, assistance, and human expertise continues to rise. We’re building localized voice agents to extend expertise in every language and at every hour here.”
