Game Creators to Unlock Groundbreaking Voiceover Tech Thanks to ElevenLabs and BUD Tie-up

London, UK - The world’s leading text-to-speech AI platform ElevenLabs is teaming up with gaming pioneers BUD to bring an industry-leading partnership to the BUD platform; enabling users to bring characters to life with AI-generated voices.

The partnership will allow game creators on BUD’s platform to voice characters and narrate interactions without the need to code or source voice audio.

As an user-generated gaming platform used by millions of creators and players, BUD enables any creator to develop interactive experiences either by designing them from scratch or using a marketplace of community-designed elements. BUD user-created experiences span a wide and inspiring spectrum of creativity; from virtual hangout spaces for hosting parties, to Battle Royale games.

Through this partnership, users will now be able to use ElevenLabs to enhance these experiences with a huge range of lifelike voices. These can be added with the click of a button on the BUD platform. Users simply input their preferred text and then select the synthetic voices they want to use. The tool can also support narration across 9 languages, including English, Spanish, Classic Arabic or German.

Thanks to ElevenLab’s proprietary technology, the voices offer ‘human-like’ emotive narrative; able to pick up on nuance and punctuation to deliver realistic and non-robotic speech. Each of the synthetic voices available is crisp, lifelike and offers a wide canvas for easily building quality narration.

Previously, 3D multisensory experiences could only be created by professionals and game studios with access to professional software. BUD’s platform, combined with ElevenLabs’ text-to-speech software, enables anyone to produce high quality experiences in the metaverse without the need for expensive software or prior coding knowledge.

Both ElevenLabs and BUD are committed to decreasing barriers for independent creators in gaming, through access to no-code tools and resources.

The collaboration is a further commitment by ElevenLabs to give independent game studios easier access to high quality voice for their narratives.
