Reception.ai handles this with a regulatory request: you submit your business details once, and Reception.ai files them with the carrier. ## Supported countries | Availability | Countries | | ----------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Instant, no paperwork** | United States, Canada | | **With a regulatory request** | Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia, Czechia, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Vietnam | | **Other countries** | [Bring your own number](/docs/reception-ai/phone-numbers/bring-your-own-number) | Available number types (local or mobile) and stock depend on the country and change over time. The **Regulations** tab shows what is currently available. Countries marked **Coming soon** require a personal ID document that Reception.ai can't collect yet. ## Submitting a request ### Open the Regulations tab Go to **Receptionists**, select the **Phone** tile, and open **Regulations**. ### Choose a number type Select **Get a \[country] local number** or **Apply for a \[country] local number**, or the mobile equivalent. ### Enter your business address Enter the street address, city, region, and postal code of your business in that country. ### Upload documents Choose which document you can provide. Each slot lists what the document must show. Upload up to 10 documents as PDF, JPEG, or PNG, up to 10 MB each. ### Submit Select **Get number and submit** or **Submit for review**. ## Held numbers In some countries, Reception.ai assigns the number immediately and holds it while the request is reviewed. A held number: * Shows a **Held** badge * Cannot receive calls or texts until the request is approved * Can already place outbound calls and send reminders Your receptionist shows **Waiting for number approval** until then. Deleting the request releases the held number. UK businesses get a held number automatically when they finish onboarding. ## Request status | Status | Meaning | | ------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- | | **In review** | The carrier is reviewing your documents | | **Approved** | The number is active and can receive calls | | **Rejected** | The documents were not accepted. Review the reason and resubmit. | Reception.ai emails you when a request is approved or rejected. > ElevenLabs provides APIs and SDKs for text to speech, voice cloning, speech to text, sound effects, voice isolator, voice changer, and conversational AI agents.
