# Team

Invite colleagues to work in your Reception.ai workspace with you. Manage your team in **Settings** → **Team**, under **Team Members**.

## Roles

| Role | What they can do |
| ---------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Owner** | Owns the workspace. The owner can't be removed and their role can't be changed. |
| **Admin** | Invite new members, change roles, remove members, and cancel pending invites. |
| **Member** | View the team. Only admins can invite, change roles, or remove members. |

## Inviting someone

1. Go to **Settings** → **Team** and select **Invite**.
2. Enter the person's email address.
3. Choose **Member** or **Admin**.
4. Select **Send invite**.

The person receives an email invitation. After they sign in or sign up, they select **Accept & join** to join your workspace, or **Decline**. Invitations that have not been accepted yet appear under **Pending Invites**, where admins can cancel them.

If the person already has their own Reception.ai workspace, they can still accept. They can then move between workspaces with **Switch workspace** in the account menu.

## Managing members

Admins can open the menu next to a member and select:

* **Make admin** to give a member admin access.
* **Remove admin access** to make an admin a member again.
* **Remove from workspace** to remove the person.

You can't change your own role or remove yourself.

## Team size limits

Each plan includes a number of team members, counting the owner:

| Free Trial | Basic | Plus | Premium |
| ---------- | ----- | ---- | ------- |
| 3 | 3 | 5 | 10 |

Pending invites count toward the limit, so cancel unused invites to free a seat. When the workspace is full, an invitee who tries to join is asked to have the workspace owner upgrade the plan.

### Suspended members

If you move to a plan with fewer team members, the most recently added members beyond the limit are suspended, not removed. Suspended members show a **Suspended** badge and can't use the workspace. To restore access, [upgrade your plan](/docs/reception-ai/billing/plans-and-pricing#upgrading) or remove a member. Suspended members get access back automatically, longest-serving first, as seats become free.
