# Home

The Home page is the first page you see after signing in. It summarizes your receptionist's activity and lists what needs attention.

## Receptionist status

The top of the page shows whether your receptionist is taking calls:

| Status                          | Meaning                                                          |
| ------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **On a call now**               | A conversation is in progress                                    |
| **Waiting for calls**           | Live and ready                                                   |
| **Waiting for number approval** | Your phone number is held until a regulatory request is approved |
| **Not taking calls yet**        | No phone number is connected                                     |

Select **Test** to talk to your receptionist, or **Configure** to open its settings. If your business has no name yet, select **Add your business name**.

## Activity summary

Switch between **Today** and **7 days** to see:

* **Conversations**, including those after business hours
* **Time saved answering**: time the receptionist spent on calls for you
* **Bookings** made by the receptionist
* **Booked value**: the total price of those bookings

## Latest conversations

Recent conversations and messages, each with outcome labels such as booked, order, new client, urgent, message, or unanswered question. Select one to open it.

## Needs your attention

A list of items that need action:

* **Connect a phone number**
* **Urgent messages**
* **Unread messages**
* **Unanswered questions** from your [FAQ](/docs/reception-ai/knowledge-base/faq)

When everything is handled, the list shows **All caught up**.

## Setup checklist

New workspaces see a checklist of setup tasks based on what was imported from your website, such as reviewing working hours, locations, staff, services, and call settings.

If onboarding ran a quick scan of your website, the Home page shows **We did a quick scan of your website**. Select **Read the rest of your site** to import the remaining pages. See [Website scraping](/docs/reception-ai/knowledge-base/website-scraping).

## Navigation and help

* **Sidebar**: open **More** to find additional pages and pin them to the sidebar.
* **Guides**: short tours for common tasks, such as creating your first booking and connecting Google Calendar.
* **Help**: select **Help** in the header to book a 15-minute call, email support, join the Discord community, or send feedback.
* **Mobile**: Reception.ai works in mobile browsers and can be installed as an app from the browser menu.
