# How to make the voice laugh?

With Eleven v4 and Eleven v3, you can use [audio tags](/docs/help-center/product/core-capabilities/text-to-speech/how-do-audio-tags-work-with-eleven-v3-and-v4) such as `[laughs]` to add laughter and other reactions to generated speech.
