# Can users have more than one account?

You can link multiple workspaces to the same account. There is a maximum of one free workspace per account. There is no limit on the number of paid workspaces you can be a member of.

If you need separate accounts instead, keep the following in mind:

* Each account must be associated with a different email address
* Any discounts we offer apply to only one of those accounts

**However, we only allow one free account per user and IP.**

If you create multiple paid accounts and then switch to the free plan, those accounts may be flagged.
