# Regenerate target

POST https://api.elevenlabs.io/v1/dubbing/project/{project_id}/language/{language_id}/transcript/regenerate

Enterprise only. Re-dub a target from its edited transcript, re-synthesizing only the edited regions (charged like a generation, less the free-regeneration allowance). Accepted asynchronously: the target returns to `processing` and sends a `dubbing_language_completed` event to the project's `webhook_ids` when the re-dub lands, carrying the new output URLs. Returns a conflict when the target has no edits to apply — nothing is dispatched and nothing is charged.

- `project_id` (string, required) — Identifier of the dubbing project.
- `language_id` (string, required) — Identifier of the language target.

Successful Response

- `regenerated_segment_ids` (list of string, required) — The segments this re-dub re-synthesizes: those with edits to apply.
- `regenerated_seconds` (double, required) — Seconds of audio this re-dub covers — the edited regions only, never the whole target. `charged_seconds` is the part of it that was billed.
- `charged_seconds` (double, required) — Seconds actually billed, after the free-regeneration allowance. Zero when the re-dub cost nothing — either the allowance covered all of it, or the project's included generation did.
- `free_regeneration_seconds_remaining` (double, required) — Free-regeneration seconds left for this language target after this re-dub. The allowance is the source's own duration.
